About the Candidate
We are seeking a seasoned Compliance Lead in the dynamic world of FinTech in Thailand. This role, under the guidance of our experienced Chief Investment Officer, offers a unique opportunity to delve into Web 3.0 learnings, collaborate with international partners, and work on groundbreaking regulations in the blockchain and crypto domain.
As a key person in handling regulatory relations, the candidate should demonstrate robust experience interfacing with policymakers and regulators, and strategize to position the company at its optimal vantage point.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain all aspects of legal and compliance programs within the FinTech area.
- Act as the company’s main point of contact with regulatory bodies in Thailand, ensuring a strong and constructive relationship.
- Guide the company in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, blockchain technology, and Web 3.0.
- Collaborate with our seasoned Chief Investment Officer to create strategies that add value to our compliance processes.
- Facilitate training sessions for internal teams to ensure understanding and adherence to regulations and compliance procedures.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess the potential impact on organizational operations.
- Cooperate with international teams to share knowledge and provide insight into Thai regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Regulatory or Compliance role, preferably within the FinTech, Blockchain, or Cryptocurrency industries.
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with regulatory bodies.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Thai regulations pertinent to FinTech. Familiarity with Blockchain and Web 3.0 will be a plus.
- Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Exemplary communication skills, both written and oral, in Thai and English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
