About Our Client

Job Description
- Run sourcing and category management of pearls and pearls related category.
- Develop strong relationships with supplier and partners and manage supplier relationships and performance.
- Collaborate effectively with Production and Quality to ensure high adherence to standards of direct materials, indirect materials and other.
- Monitor supplier compliance.
- Ensure material compliance.
- Drive supplier assessment and collaborate effectively with all relevant stakeholders to ensure stringent standards.
- Drive cost savings of spend per supplier.
- Drive supplier payment term improvement.
- Ensure the sourcing process complies with all procurement governance.
The Successful Applicant
- A minimum of 10 years of working experience in leadership position, with 3 years or more within operational supply chain experience, supply planner, purchasing, or in a relevant function
- Prior experience in the jewellery/gemstone industry business
- Experience in sourcing and managing supplier relationships with freshwater pearls farms is mandatory
- Experience working in global, international company with matrix set-ups
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (Thai would be an added advantage)
